The Studierendenwerksreferat deals with all matters relating to the Studierendenwerk. These include the major areas of student residences and Mensen, but also childcare, culture and employment. It is also responsible for coordination with the other student bodies supported by Studierendenwerk Heidelberg.
What we do
As Studierendenwerksreferent*innen, we meet regularly with the management of the Studierendenwerk to advocate for the interests of students. Here we represent the interests of students with regard to mensas, student housing, Studierendenwerk cafés and many other issues concerning the Studierendenwerk. The topics that we advocate for are based on the resolutions of the StuRa and the Referatekonferenz as well as topics that students tell us about. So talk to us, come to our office hours or send us an e-mail with your concerns!
