Have any certificate of enrolment ready – it does not have to be the one from the summer semester 2022. On the certificate you will find your (former) matriculation number and – at the bottom – a verification number. It is therefore sufficient if you have any certificate of enrolment from any semester. Each certificate has a different verification number, each of which works. The refund will then be made up to 6 weeks later.
Why are we being reimbursed?
During the period of the 9€-Ticket, the VRN (the local public transportation company) has suspended the contract with the Verfasste Studierendenschaft (constituted student body) regarding the semester ticket – and thus also the evening and weekend regulations that allow students even without the Semesterticket to take public transportation on evenings, weekends and holidays. The money paid for this can be transferred back to the students.
Who can get money back?
Anyone who was enrolled at Heidelberg University in the summer semester 2022, paid the semester ticket fee and did not receive a refund elsewhere can have the money refunded.
How much is reimbursed?
17,65 € per person will be refunded. This corresponds to the price of the Semesterticket share of 3 months.
