Dear fellow students,

we have compiled some important and interesting announcements for you:

Mensa (canteens) survey

As we did two years ago, the student council is once again conducting a survey on the university canteens (Mensa), in cooperation with the Studierendenwerk. The survey will form the basis for the Studierendenwerk’s new canteen concept. The survey is therefore your chance to actively help shape the canteens according to your wishes.

Public transport changes

Since June 23, 2025, there have been new timetables and routes in the Heidelberg public transport network.
Unfortunately, the discontinuation of line 32, which the student body has repeatedly protested to the city, is particularly relevant for students.
All changes can be found here.

Flatrates

With your student ID, you can use the following facilities in Heidelberg for FREE:

• Heidelberg City Theater
• Taeter Theater
• Kurpfälzisches Museum
• Ethnological Museum

And last but not least: refunds

If you have not yet applied for a refund for the €9 ticket for the 2022 summer semester but were already studying here at that time, go to the refund portal, where you can check until Sept 30th, 2025,. whether you are eligible for a refund.
